A little girl asks my grandma
“Who made God?”
“Did He make Hisself?”
She asks, her fingers framing her face
Awaiting an answer
My grandma says
“I can’t tell her that because if God made himself
How come I can’t make me too?”
High and nodding along, I try to quiet my thoughts because she can’t tell I’m high
I want to say
“Didn’t we make God?”
But I just laugh and giggle along
